Olef Cloud terms of service

Effective October 20, 2026. Updated October 29, 2026: ShadowDroid is now Olef; nothing else changed.

These terms govern Olef Cloud: app.shadowdroid.dev, the Olef Cloud API, the remote MCP server at mcp.shadowdroid.dev, the cloud viewer at view.shadowdroid.dev, and the olef cloud commands of the CLI (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Andrii Olefirenko, an individual ("we", "us"). The Olef CLI and plugins themselves stay under the Olef License and their own licenses.

By signing in to the Service you agree to these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the privacy policy at olef.dev/privacy. If you use the Service for an organization, you agree for it and confirm you're allowed to.

1. The alpha

The Service is a private alpha: invite-only, free while the alpha lasts, and offered as is. Features, limits and these terms may change, and we may pause or end the alpha. We'll tell signed-in users before material changes. If we end the alpha, we'll give you at least 14 days to export hosted workspaces, unless we have to act sooner for security or legal reasons.

2. Accounts and invites

3. Your content

4. Limits

Every account has limits, enforced by the Service. During the alpha they are:

LimitAlpha
Sessions at a time1
Session-hours per month40 (warnings at 80 % and 95 %)
Session length4 hours (warnings 10 and 2 minutes before it stops; you can start a new one if hours remain)
Idle stop15 minutes without commands, MCP calls, file changes or viewer use
Workspaces3, each with a 50 GB disk
Hosted workspace files2 MiB per file, 20 MiB per write, 2 GiB of source per workspace
Command run time30 minutes per command (background daemons excepted)
Network egress20 Mbit/s per session; 15 GB per day per account
MachineOne c3-standard-8 VM per session; no GPU; Android images without Google Play
Requests20 per second in bursts, 600 per minute, per token
Estimated costUS$40 per account per month

Your dashboard shows your limits and usage. When you reach a limit the Service refuses new work or stops sessions, and says which limit. We may change limits during the alpha, and may lower or raise them for an account.

5. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We monitor usage signals to detect abuse, and may throttle or stop sessions, or suspend or close accounts that break it.

6. Third-party software and services

7. What you test

The cloud device can reach the internet. Don't put production secrets, real customer data or personal accounts on it. Treat viewer control links like passwords: anyone with one can use the device.

8. Fees

The Service is free during the alpha. Paid plans may follow; we'll describe the prices before any charge, and won't charge you without your agreement and a payment method you add yourself.

9. Suspension and termination

10. Feedback

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS AN ALPHA PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THAT IT WILL BE AVAILABLE OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL KEEP YOUR CONTENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, PROFITS OR REVENUE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ABOUT THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND US$50.

13. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Washington State, except where the law where you live gives you other rights. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
