Acceptable use

Olef Cloud acceptable use and abuse policy

Effective October 20, 2026. Updated October 29, 2026: ShadowDroid is now Olef; nothing else changed.

Olef Cloud gives you a cloud VM and an Android emulator with internet access, so you can build, run and test your own Android apps. This policy says what that does and doesn't include. It's part of the Olef Cloud terms of service. Olef Cloud is operated by Andrii Olefirenko.

What it's for

Developing, building, running, testing, debugging and demonstrating Android apps you have the right to work on, with or without an AI coding agent.

What you may not do

  1. Mining and unrelated compute. Mine cryptocurrency, or use sessions for compute that has nothing to do with Android app development, such as model training, rendering, password cracking or general batch jobs.
  2. Proxies and relays. Run proxies, VPNs, Tor relays or exit nodes, or otherwise route other people's or other systems' traffic through the Service.
  3. Fraud and fake engagement. Click or ad fraud; fake installs, reviews, votes or traffic; or creating accounts on other services in bulk or automatically.
  4. Spam. Send bulk or unsolicited messages of any kind. Outbound email (port 25) is blocked.
  5. Attacks. Scan, probe, attack or try to break into systems or networks you don't own or have written permission to test; run denial-of-service attacks; or try to reach our internal network, other accounts' sessions, or the VM's credentials and metadata.
  6. Malware. Build, host or distribute malware, spyware or stalkerware, or apps meant to deceive people or collect their data without consent.
  7. Other people's apps. Install or run apps you have no right to use or test, including pirated or cracked apps, or use the Service to get around another app's or service's protections or terms.
  8. Illegal or harmful content. Store, process or distribute content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, sexually exploits children, or harasses or threatens people.
  9. Getting around limits. Create more than one account, share accounts or access, or otherwise avoid the Service's limits, invites, suspensions or security controls. The limits are listed in the terms of service.
  10. Reselling. Resell or sublicense the Service, or offer it to others as your own hosted product, without our written agreement.
  11. Overloading. Interfere with the Service or other users, for example by exceeding the request limits on purpose.

Security research on the Service itself is welcome if you tell us at abuse@olef.dev first, stay within your own account and sessions, and don't access other people's data or disrupt the Service.

Reviewer and test accounts that we create are for evaluating the Service only, and this policy applies to them as well.

How we detect abuse

We watch usage signals, not your code:

SignalWhat happens
CPU at 95 % or more for over 20 minutes with no command, MCP or viewer activityThe session stops and the account is suspended automatically, then reviewed
Heavy command use in a hosted workspace with no Android project in itThe account is suspended automatically, then reviewed
More than 5 GB of egress in an hour, or over the 15 GB daily limitTraffic is slowed, then the session stops; reviewed
Sign-ups or sessions from one network or device across more than 2 accounts in a dayReviewed
Bursts of failed sign-ins or token refreshesReviewed; tokens may be revoked
Apps installed that weren't built in your workspaceRecorded, and reviewed alongside other signals

We review every flag. If a review needs it to confirm abuse, we may look at the account's records and, only then, the workspace's contents.

Enforcement

Depending on how serious and how deliberate it looks, we may warn you, slow or stop sessions, lower your limits, suspend the account, or close it and delete its data. When there's ongoing harm, a security risk or a legal reason, we act first and explain afterwards.

Appeals

If your account was suspended and you think that's wrong, email abuse@olef.dev from the account's address and say what you were doing. We'll review it and reply.

Reporting abuse

To report abuse coming from Olef Cloud, email abuse@olef.dev with the time, the source IP address or viewer link, and what happened.
