## olef pane

Serve the live, interactive device viewer (video, touch, keys) on a loopback URL until Ctrl-C; or read what the person annotated or recorded in a running viewer

```bash
olef pane --help
```

Output: **json**.

| Argument | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `--port <PORT>` | Loopback port for the viewer (default: a free port) |
| `--json` | Accepted for compatibility; output is always JSON. |

### olef pane annotations

What the person annotated in a running viewer (its Annotate mode): each note's comment, the element and a selector for it, and the composables that drew it (file:line), plus an overview PNG of each screen with its notes outlined and numbered (and a crop of the tiny ones). Reading takes them off the viewer unless --keep

```bash
olef pane annotations --help
```

Output: **json**.

| Argument | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `--keep` | Leave them on the viewer |
| `--crops` | Also save a crop of every note, not only the tiny ones |
| `--out <OUT>` / `-o` | Directory for the images (default: a temp directory) |
| `--json` | Accepted for compatibility; output is always JSON. |

### olef pane steps

The steps the person recorded in a running viewer (Record steps): each tap with the element it hit and a selector, swipes, typing and keys. Write a UI test from them

```bash
olef pane steps --help
```

Output: **json**.

| Argument | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `--json` | Accepted for compatibility; output is always JSON. |
