# Teams & collaboration

Source: https://olef.dev/docs/cloud/teams

Olef Cloud lets a team share an organization and project context while Olef handles provisioning the Android environments. Start with one project and a small group, then expand after the workflow is working.

## 1. Create your team

Sign in to the [dashboard](https://app.olef.dev). Use **New team org** / **Create a team org**, enter the team details, and create the organization. Switch into that organization before setting up projects or workspaces.

Cloud access and organization features are subject to your account's enabled capabilities. If the option is unavailable, [contact Olef](mailto:contact@olef.dev).

## 2. Invite the right people

Open the organization's members area and choose **Create invite link**. Select the role before sharing the link. You can bind an invitation to an email address and revoke an unused invitation from the invite list.

| Role | Intended use |
| --- | --- |
| Owner | Organization administration, including other owners |
| Admin | Members, invitations, and organization-wide workspace and cost administration |
| Developer | Building in their own workspaces and using sessions and devices |
| Billing | Plans, invoices, and usage without workspace access |
| Guest | Watching sessions or workspaces they are invited to, without starting their own sessions |

Organization administration does not itself mean access to the contents of another member's workspace. Use the product's sharing controls for collaboration.

## 3. Give the project a shared home

Use a team project for its repository, shared settings, and project secrets. Grant access to the people who need it. From **New workspace → From a project**, a developer can create their own workspace for the selected project and branch.

This lets the team share project setup while keeping each developer's working environment distinct. Olef handles the underlying environment and cloud emulator provisioning.

## 4. Review and collaborate

Share a workspace through the controls available in the dashboard. A teammate can watch or pair according to the granted access. Keep one active driver at a time when interacting with the same Android screen.

Use a practical first task:

```text
Run the project's onboarding flow in my Olef workspace, collect evidence
for any failures, and save the verified flow as a repeatable test. Keep
changes isolated to my workspace and branch for review.
```

## 5. Manage usage

Review organization usage and running sessions in the dashboard. Check current plan and seat limits before inviting a larger team. Stop idle sessions when finished; manage workspace deletion separately from session shutdown.

## Need a private deployment?

Olef can also be deployed within enterprise infrastructure, with integration options for Google Cloud, AWS, and on-premises environments. [Discuss your deployment requirements](https://olef.dev/docs/cloud/enterprise) with the Olef team.
